Ben flew in from Aus to celebrate the 50th birthday of
Dr. Mike loh at the Exe Club 33rd floor, Peach Garden.
Before he goes back to Aus we had decided to get together and have
dinner.

Venu... Petes at Hyatt hotel.

Now Ben is a very interesting fella whose parents are Singaporeans but
he was born and bred in Aus and hence the accent and mannerism of
an Aussie. He started his own company that deals with mobile and now
has moved on to Online Flight ticket booking.

Very Accomplished Man i must say

After a scrumptous dinner of "Game Hen with weird salad" till now
i still have no idea what that dish is called, we walked around Guardian
in search of a pad that you stick to your leg and its suppose to "suck"
toxin out of your body? lol
We passed by some razor and he commented "Why would anyone pay
SGD$14.90 for a 5 bladed razor when a SGD$1.25 2 bladed razor can do
the same job just as well, or almost anyway". Oo

He made another comment saying that we could get a decent bowl of
noodle here at SGD$2.50 to SGD$3.00 but at the same time paying SGD$5.00
for a cup of coffe at starbucks?? LOL

Now he is no-where near stingy and he is definately not lacking in the finance
department, but i guess what he was trying to put across is that we
choose what we pay for and the things we choose depend heavily on how fat
your pay cheque is. Things we want are not necessarily the things we need...

Dinner was SGD$125 , he paid :) when we could have eaten at Sizzler for
almost the same thing at half the price or less
